Lazaros' birthday

Hello little one. On Friday 10 July, you had been invited along with Mummy and Daddy to go to Lazaros' and Antonis' house for Lazaros birthday party. Mummy dressed you up in your party outfit with the headband and we put you in the car seat:



You don't look too happy, but as soon as you got used to it you were smiling again. Here you are with Haroula, Lazaros' and Antonis' mummy. You spent most of the night in her arms and liked it very much. Your green headband stole the show!

Telonius, the Robot Turtle

"I am Telonius, the robot turtle", said in the voice of the Daleks. You like this game.



Endless fun with Telonius (derived from Χελώνα with some extra 60's sci-fi flourishes). Telonius is often a destructive force "I am Telonius the robot Turtle and I will destroy you" and he approaches to attack you, but sometimes approaches to protect you (substitute the word protect for destroy).

The fast paced motion of Telonius is dizzyingly exciting as you watch him appear and walk with his robot turtle gait towards you.

Shantala massage continues

On 8 July, Mummy gave you another massage - she does it as often as she can and you do like it. Here are some photos of you with a smile on your face and some as Mummy is massaging your hands and arms.

First weekend of July

Hello little one



On the weekend of 4 and 5 July Mummy and Daddy didn't do much at all. On Saturday it rained a lot and Mummy took you out on the balcony so you could smell the rain and have an idea what that's all about. On Sunday you sat with Daddy for a lot of the day and then in the afternoon we all went out to Voula to visit Lazaros and Antonis. Lazaros and Antonis are two friends of yours that Mummy used to look after when their parents went out to work. Next weekend is Lazaros' birthday party and we're all invited!

Visit to Aunty Igor

On 3 July we visited Aunty Igor again and she had some other friends over with their kids. You had the chance to meet Dimitri and Elizabeth. Here you are with a cheeky face and a nice dress all ready to go and visit.


In this photo, we are all standing around with silly grins because we changed your nappy in a foreign bathroom. You have now had your nappy changed in two different bathrooms apart from the one at home and the big bathroom which mother nature provides us. You don't seem too impressed with this sort of thing, however happy it's making Mummy and Daddy.

First vaccination - two months old

Hello little one...



On 2 July, the nice paediatrician came home again to give you your first inoculation. You are now two months old and while Mummy and Daddy are in favour of inoculation, they really do not have the first idea about what is really necessary and what is just lettuce and parsley on the platter of good health. So, we trust the nice paediatrician, pay him for his advice and pay him for the vaccines he brings.

Grandad Y says it's all a lot of rubbish and most of the stuff that you will be inoculated for is harmless anyway. In his day they used to let the kids play in the street, get ill and then they never had to worry for the rest of their lives. They were immunised without giving a penny to Bayer and Glaxo. Those were tougher times, though before i-Pods were invented.

Anyway, it's started now, your journey.



Here you are with a bit of cotton on your thigh where the nice Paediatrician put the needle in. you don't look too upset, because you are not. You winced a little at the time, but immediately afterwards, you found your fingers and started sucking on them and then everything was fine.

Visiting the cavers

Hello little one



On Wednesdays, Daddy usually goes to meet with his friends at the SELAS Caving Club. Before you were born, he used to go every Wednesday to see his friends and discuss where they would all go for exploring the coming weekend. Daddy hadn’t been for quite a few months, so he was looking forward to it. His friends at the club were meeting to arrange what they would be doing with their summer holidays so there was a lot of people there, and for this reason we dressed you up in your nice stripy outfit for you first meeting.

Daddy's friend Sophia held you for most of the night. It was great fun because Mummy and Daddy left you with Sophia and had a chance to go around and talk with their friends.



Here you are with Sophia with the climbing wall in the background. Everyone else who has brought their kids to the club has put them to play on the climbing wall. When you are a little older, you can play too. You are the second girl in the club after a line of seven boys, so it will be up to you and Nina (Prodromos' sister) to show the boys that girls can be little explorers too. Sophia took you round to show you all the photos on the walls with caving subjects which you liked.



Here is little Jason, one of the seven boys in the club. His Mummy is doing all sorts of tricks with him, throwing him in the air and over her shoulder. One day Daddy is going to play with you like Eri is playing with baby Jason.



These last two photos of you show you with Kelly at the club and while you are eating in the tackle-store. Daddy used to be in charge of the tackle store but now it is Jason's daddy who is in charge of this. Can you tell where you are in the photo on the right? You are under the sling, eating.
